I began my soap-making journey in 2017 while struggling to find unscented soap that would not irritate my daughter's airways. I suffered from childhood asthma and as an adult, I do not tolerate many artificial scents but I made do. However, as my daughter got older she began to complain that the soap would make her cough in the shower and irritate her skin (even though I would purchase a well-known unscented brand). That is when I decided to find out how I could make my own soap, I went to my local library and checked out every soap-making book I found, and after that, I began learning online. I found myself making more and more soap, trying different oils and additives, and discovering how wonderful and enjoyable a soap bar could be. Skin-loving ingredients like oatmeal, goat milk, olive oil, tallow, castor oil, and shea butter became my go-to. Now I get to help my family by making something that I love while providing others with wonderful products I pray will be a blessing to you as it has blessed my family.
